Questo metodo potrebbe un giorno portare a trattamenti migliori per le persone affette da patologie neurologiche come il morbo di Parkinson e l&#039;epilessia, consentendo agli scienziati di stimolare aree del corpo con una tensione esterna.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPer diversi decenni abbiamo cercato di creare dispositivi elettronici che imitassero la biologia. Ora lasciamo che sia la biologia a creare l\u2019elettronica per noi\u201d, ha affermato in una conferenza il professor Magnus Berggren del Laboratorio di elettronica organica, LOE, presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Link\u00f6ping, in Svezia. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/news-releases\/980082\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">comunicato stampa.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIl contatto con le sostanze del corpo modifica la struttura del gel e lo rende elettricamente conduttivo, cosa che non era prima dell&#039;iniezione. A seconda del tessuto, possiamo anche regolare la composizione del gel per avviare il processo elettrico&quot;, ha aggiunto Xenofon Strakosas, ricercatore presso la LOE e l&#039;Universit\u00e0 di Lund e uno dei principali autori dello studio.<\/p>\n<div id=\"dfp-ad-oop2\" class=\"dfp-tag-wrapper\"> <\/div>\n<p>I ricercatori sono riusciti a coltivare elettrodi a base di gel all&#039;interno dei corpi di pesci zebra e sanguisughe vivi. Come avevano previsto i ricercatori, gli elettrodi sono stati creati in ciascun organo in cui \u00e8 stato iniettato il gel.<\/p>\n<p>Nello studio, i ricercatori hanno stabilito la formazione di elettrodi nel cervello, nel cuore e nelle pinne caudali del pesce zebra e attorno al tessuto nervoso delle sanguisughe medicinali, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inverse.com\/science\/injectable-brain-gel-electrodes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Inverso<\/a> segnalato.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 incoraggiante il fatto che la procedura non sembra causare dolore o disagio nel pesce zebra. Si \u00e8 ipotizzato lo stesso per le sanguisughe, anche se \u00e8 pi\u00f9 difficile conoscere il dolore negli animali.<\/p>\n<p>I pesci zebra mostrano dolore &quot;in molti modi diversi, ad esempio quando nuotano molto velocemente o possono rotolarsi&quot;, ha spiegato Hjort. \u201cNon abbiamo riscontrato nessuno di questi effetti negativi. Quindi penso che sia un ottimo segno\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApportando modifiche intelligenti alla chimica, siamo stati in grado di sviluppare elettrodi accettati dal tessuto cerebrale e dal sistema immunitario. Il pesce zebra \u00e8 un modello eccellente per lo studio degli elettrodi organici nel cervello\u201d, ha affermato il professor Roger Olsson della Facolt\u00e0 di Medicina dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Lund.<\/p>\n<p>Gli scienziati ammettono che, sebbene i loro risultati siano incoraggianti, c\u2019\u00e8 ancora tempo per eventuali applicazioni umane fattibili.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI nostri risultati aprono modi completamente nuovi di pensare alla biologia e all\u2019elettronica.
