Une femme de 23 ans s'est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e aux urgences avec un ant\u00e9c\u00e9dent de douleur atraumatique \u00e0 l'\u00e9paule droite. Au cours des mois pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, la douleur s'\u00e9tait aggrav\u00e9e et son amplitude de mouvement s'\u00e9tait consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duite. Elle \u00e9tait par ailleurs en forme et en bonne sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l'examen, son \u00e9paule semblait normale et il n'y avait pas de d\u00e9ficit neurovasculaire \u00e9vident, y compris le nerf axillaire. Elle n'avait aucun mouvement actif dans aucune direction, mais pouvait passivement amener son \u00e9paule \u00e0 60\u00b0 d'abduction et de flexion vers l'avant.<\/p>\n

Une radiographie simple de l'\u00e9paule (Figure 1<\/cross-ref>) montre une l\u00e9sion lytique lobul\u00e9e, expansive et mal d\u00e9finie au sein de la t\u00eate hum\u00e9rale droite et de la diaphyse hum\u00e9rale proximale. La l\u00e9sion concernait la diaphyse, la m\u00e9taphyse et l'\u00e9piphyse.<\/p>\n

Une IRM a \u00e9t\u00e9 demand\u00e9e (Figure 2<\/cross-ref>) pour aider \u00e0 \u00e9tablir le diagnostic. Ceci confirmait une l\u00e9sion expansive qui avait remplac\u00e9 la t\u00eate hum\u00e9rale et venant en but\u00e9e sur la surface articulaire.
