His face had a few papular-nodular lesions over forehead and cheeks, attenuated skin folds, with loss of eyelashes and eyebrows (figure 1). Peripheral nerve examination showed thickened bilateral ulnar and posterior tibial nerves. Slit skin smear examination and histopathology of a nodule showed features consistent with multibacillary leprosy. Based on clinical and laboratorial findings, the diagnosis of lepromatous leprosy was made and started on WHO&mdash;Multi Drug Therapy regimen containing rifampicin, clofazimine and dapsone.
